Originally founded by Jungle Brothers, De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest in the late 1980's; the crew grew to a large number of associate, extended and peripheral members including Black Sheep, Chi-Ali, Fu-Schnickens, Monie Love, Queen Latifah, Leaders of the New School, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Da Bush Babees, Truth Enola, & Slum Village.

The songs selected for this show were those that included at least two of the different members/crews from Native Tongues.
